This collection is part of the Oral History Program, one of the critical components of the HolocaustResource Center here at Kean. The Holocaust Resource Center has amassed thousands of hours oftestimony of New Jersey survivors and liberators. The collection now holds over 200 oral testimonies.The University’s oral history project is associated with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museumin Washington. D.C. and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. A book based on these testimonies,Holocaust Testimonies: European Survivors and American Liberators in New Jersey, is available in theHolocaust Resource Center. These testimonies are a true educational opportunity for students and an exceptional resource for educators.
